Zathrin 500 tablet is a macrolide antibiotic. It is used to treat bacterial infections of the chest, throat, nose, ear, skin, soft tissue, and reproductive system. It contains azithromycin as the active substance. Zathrin 500 tablet works by preventing the growth of infection-causing bacteria. You should take this medicine in the exact dose and duration as prescribed by your doctor. You should always complete the entire course of treatment with antibiotics to prevent the risk of re-infection.
