Voxylid 600 MG Description

Voxylid tablet contains linezolid as the active component. This tablet is used to treat nosocomial and community-acquired pneumonia. It is also used to treat complicated skin and soft tissue infectio

ns. Linezolid inhibits the production of bacterial proteins, thereby preventing their growth and survival. Voxylid tablet is available on a doctor's prescription and should be taken at a dose and for a duration prescribed by the doctor. You should not take this tablet if you are allergic to the ingredients or are using medications called monoamine oxidase inhibitors such as phenelzine or isocarboxazid. Before using this tablet, talk to your doctor if you have uncontrolled high blood pressure, tumour in the adrenal glands (a gland located on the top of your kidney), bipolar depression, thyroid problems, schizoaffective disorder (hallucinations, delusion, depression, and mania), or acute confusion state. Commonly observed side effects are headache, nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea, or metallic taste. If your health worsens after taking this tablet, contact your doctor immediately.

  • Concomitant administration of warfarin increases bleeding risk
