Visvin 30 MG Description

Visvin 30 mg Injection belongs to the class of anticancer medicine. It contains decitabine as its active ingredient. It is used for the treatment of blood cancer called Acute myeloid leukaemia (AML) and Myelodysplastic syndrome (a group of conditions in which the bone marrow produces blood cells that are misshapen and not healthy). To ensure the safety of women of reproductive potential, it is strongly advised that they avoid pregnancy and utilise reliable contraception while receiving Visvin 30 mg Injection. This precautionary measure should be maintained for a period of 6 months following the completion of treatment. Similarly, men with female partners of reproductive potential should also practice effective contraception during the course of treatment and for 3 months after the last dose.

Your doctor will administer this injection in a hospital setting, do not self-administer

Storage and disposal of Visvin 30 MG

Use within 15 minutes of reconstitution, the diluted solution must be prepared with infusion fluids kept at 2-8°C and stored at 2-8°C up to a maximum of 7 hours.
Ensure protection from light and moisture.
Ensure that it is out of sight and reach of minors.
Do not use it after the expiry date.
Do not throw the leftover medicine away in the garbage or flush it down the drain. Ask the pharmacist how to dispose of it correctly.
