Viroclear 400Mg Tablet 28'S

• If you are allergic to sofosbuvir or any other ingredients of Viroclear tablet.
• If you are using medicinal products that are strong P-glycoprotein (P-gp) inducers in the intestine, such as carbamazepine, phenobarbital, phenytoin, rifampicin and St. John's wort.

• Loss of appetite
• Insomnia
• Headache
• Nausea
• Fatigue
• Irritability
• Decreased haemoglobin levels
• Increased blood bilirubin levels

Other General Warnings

• You are taking Viroclear tablet without other hepatitis C medicines, as it must be used in combination.
• You have recently stopped taking or have recently stopped taking amiodarone, due to the risk of serious heart problems.
• You have or had hepatitis B, as it may reactivate during treatment.
• You are pregnant or planning pregnancy, especially when using Viroclear tablet with ribavirin.
• You have diabetes, since this medication may lower blood sugar and require medication changes.
• You have severe kidney problems or are on dialysis, as monitoring may be needed.
• You are taking certain other medicines (like modafinil, oxcarbazepine, rifapentine, telaprevir, or boceprevir), which may reduce the effect of this medicine or are not recommended.

• Viroclear tablet should be taken as directed by your doctor.
• Swallow it whole with a glass of water.
• It should be taken with or after a meal to reduce its side effects.
• It is best to take it at a fixed time for optimal results, and you should not consume it more than prescribed by your doctor.

• Store Viroclear tablet in a cool, dry place, protected from direct sunlight, moisture, and heat.
• Keep it out of the reach of children and pets.

How Does It Work?

Interactions with other medicines

• Modafinil, St. John's wort, rifampicin, phenobarbital, phenytoin, and carbamazepine should not be used in combination with Viroclear tablet, as they reduce its effectiveness.
• Oxcarbazepine and rifapentine are not recommended with this medication due to the expected reduction in drug levels.
• Amiodarone may cause a serious slow heart rate when taken with this medication; use only if no alternatives and monitor closely.
• Ciclosporin and tacrolimus can be used in combination with sofosbuvir, but may require monitoring and dose adjustments.
• Vitamin K antagonists, such as warfarin, require close INR monitoring during Viroclear tablet treatment.
• Methadone, rifabutin, HIV medications (such as efavirenz, emtricitabine, tenofovir, rilpivirine, darunavir, raltegravir), and oral contraceptives can be taken with Viroclear tablet without dose changes.
