Medical Description
Venpres 40 AM Tablet is a medicine used to manage high blood pressure, also called hypertension. It contains a combination of telmisartan and amlodipine, which work together to relax blood vessels and improve blood flow. By lowering blood pressure, Venpres 40 AM Tablet helps reduce the risk of serious health problems such as heart attack, stroke, and kidney damage. Regular use, as prescribed by your doctor, is essential to maintain healthy blood pressure and protect your overall cardiovascular health.
Your doctor will determine the right dose and duration of Venpres 40 AM Tablet based on your blood pressure readings and overall health. Taking the medicine at the same time each day ensures consistent blood pressure control. Do not stop or change the dose without consulting your doctor, as sudden changes can increase the risk of complications.
Lifestyle measures are essential in conjunction with Venpres 40 AM Tablet for effective blood pressure management. Following a low-sodium diet, engaging in regular exercise, maintaining a healthy weight, limiting alcohol consumption, and avoiding smoking can enhance the effectiveness of the medicine and support heart and vascular health.
While taking Venpres 40 AM Tablet, you should avoid potassium supplements unless your doctor specifically recommends them, as they can raise blood potassium levels. Your doctor may also request periodic kidney function tests to ensure the medicine is safe and effective for you. Regular monitoring of blood pressure at home and during medical visits helps track your progress and adjust treatment if necessary.
Venpres 40 AM Tablet is not recommended during pregnancy, so it is important to discuss your pregnancy status or plans with your doctor before starting treatment. By taking the medication as prescribed, following lifestyle recommendations, and attending regular check-ups, you can effectively manage high blood pressure and reduce the risk of long-term complications.

How Does It Work?
- Venpress Am Tablet is a combination of two medicines telmisartan and amlodipine. Amlodipine inhibits calcium entry into the cells of the heart and blood vessels and relaxes the arteries so that blood can easily flow.
- Telmisartan works by blocking the formation of a chemical called angiotensin II in the body responsible for the tightening of blood vessels.
