Tryptinol 10 mg Tablet is an antidepressant. The active ingredient of this medicine is amitriptyline which belongs to the class of tricyclic antidepressants. This medicine balances the chemical subst

ances in the brain and prevents the pain signals from reaching the brain. It is therefore used in the treatment of depression and neuropathic pain. The most common side effects associated with the use of Tryptinol 10 mg Tablet are constipation, dryness of mouth, nausea, decrease in blood pressure, palpitations, and blurred vision. Most of these side effects are mild and should not affect your day-to-day activities. However, if their severity increases or you start having suicidal thoughts, immediately consult your doctor. Tryptinol 10 mg Tablets should be taken at a dose prescribed by the doctor. It should be continued for the recommended duration. It is advisable to take the medicine at a particular time of the day to maintain the balance of the neurotransmitters. However, you should not stop taking the medicine abruptly as it can worsen your condition. The medicine usually takes 4-6 weeks or more to start having its effect. It is not advisable to use automobiles after taking Tryptinol 10 mg Tablet since it can cause drowsiness and confusion. It is not recommended to take this medicine if you have liver disease.
