Medical Description

Trineurosol Hp Injection contains Hydroxocobalamine, a form of vitamin B12, which plays a significant role in maintaining the health of your nerves, red blood cells and general growth of the body. Common symptoms of vitamin B12 deficiency may be present as soreness in the mouth and tongue, numbness and tingling in the arms and legs, memory loss, emotional disturbances, etc. Your doctor will advise you the suitable dose and duration of this medicine depending on your body needs.

Uses

For the treatment of a decrease in the number of normal red blood cells due to reduced absorption of vitamin B12 (pernicious anaemia). Weak eyesight caused due to toxins like tobacco (tobacco amblyopia). Optic nerve degeneration causing visual disturbances (Leber's atrophy). Treatment and prevention of other anaemias (macrocytic) due to vitamin B12 deficiency.

Contraindications

If you are allergic to Hydroxocobalamine or any other ingredients of this medicine.

  • Unsteadiness (dizziness)
  • Rashes, swelling on the face and lips, difficulty in breathing

Interactions

Interactions with other medicines

  • Concomitant use of Trineurosol Hp Injection with an antibiotic like chloramphenicol and birth control pills should be done judiciously.
  • Some antibiotics and antimetabolite medicines can make it difficult to measure vitamin B12 levels.
