Topisal 6% lotion is used to treat skin conditions such as psoriasis and eczema. It is used for the treatment of skin conditions such as psoriasis, eczema and other dry, scaly conditions of the skin.
Topisal 6% lotion is a combination medicine containing clobetasol and salicylic acid as its active ingredients. It is meant only for external application and should be applied exactly as recommended by your doctor. You may experience some application site reactions as side effects, but they normally fade away with time. Please report to your doctor if you notice the side effects persist or worsen.

- If you have itching of skin without scaling of the skin.
- If you have itching around your private parts.
- If you have a skin infection over the area around the mouth.
- If you have a viral infection of the skin such as chickenpox infection or herpes infection.
- If you have a fungal or bacterial infection of the skin.
- If you are using this medicine for the treatment of skin ulcers.

How Does It Work?
- Topisal 6% lotion works by the combined action of both its ingredients.
- Clobetasol is a steroid, which works by blocking the production of certain chemical substances in the body (prostaglandins) which cause itching, swelling and redness.
- Salicylic acid works by removing and shedding dead cells from the top layer of skin by increasing skin moisture resulting in a decrease in scaling and dryness.
