- You have a history of wheezing, asthma, bronchitis, or any other lung disorders.
- You have a lower than normal heart rate.
- You have pain, ache, or cramps during walking in the hips, thighs, calf, or buttocks.
- You have a narrowing of the arteries that supply blood to the heart.
- You have heart failure that is untreated.
- You have a condition called thyrotoxicosis where your body produces too much thyroid hormone.
- You have diabetes.
- You have a tumour of the adrenal glands called phaeochromocytoma and are taking medicines for it.
- You have liver disorders.
- You are scheduled for surgery under anaesthesia.
- You have a type of heart-related chest pain called Prinzmetal's angina.
- You have a skin condition called psoriasis.
- You have low fluid volume or low salt levels in your body.
- You are taking potassium supplements, potassium-sparing diuretics, potassium-containing salt substitutes, or other medicines that increase potassium levels.
- You are on a low-salt diet.
- You are taking medicines for treating heart failure like digoxin.
- You are elderly.
- You develop muscle weakness after using this medicine.
Directions for Use
- Take Telma Mct Tablet as a whole with sufficient water.
- Always take this medicine exactly as prescribed by your doctor.
- You can take it with or without food.
- Do not cut, break, or chew the medicine.
- Do not consume more than the prescribed dose.
- Do not discontinue the medicine on your own without consulting your doctor.

Overdose
- The symptoms of an overdose of Telma Mct Tablet include low blood pressure, nausea, vomiting, weakness, dizziness, and wheezing.
- If you think you have taken too much of this medicine, contact your doctor immediately or visit the nearest hospital.
Missed a Dose
- If you have missed taking any dose of Telma Mct Tablet, take it as soon as you remember.
- If it's time for your next dose, then skip the missed dose and continue with your regular dosing schedule.
- Do not take a double dose to compensate for the missed one.

Interactions with other medicines
- Some medicines can affect the way Telma Mct Tablet works or this medicine itself can reduce the effectiveness of other medicines taken at the same time.
- Inform your doctor about all the medicines, supplements, or herbals you are currently taking or might take to avoid any possible interaction.
- Telma Mct Tablet when used together with other anti-hypertensive medicines may increase the blood pressure reducing effect.
- Particular care should be taken if you are taking medicines used for treating migraine headaches (ergotamine), tuberculosis (rifampicin), ulcers/stomach acidity (cimetidine), anaesthetics, pain/inflammation/fever (non-steroidal anti-inflammatory medicines like indomethacin), heart failure (digitalis), heart-related chest pain (nitroglycerin), abnormal/irregular heart rhythm (quinidine), psychiatric disorders (lithium), calcium salts and vitamin D, cyclosporine (used to prevent organ rejection after transplant), muscle relaxants (curare), inflammation (corticosteroids), fungal infections (amphotericin), acid peptic disease (carbenoxolone), gout (allopurinol), Parkinson's disease (amantadine), and cancer (cyclophosphamide, methotrexate).
- The incidence of low blood pressure that occurs on standing after sitting or lying down (postural hypotension) occurring with prazosin (used for management of high blood pressure) may be increased when used together with Telma Mct Tablet.
- There may be an increased lowering of blood sugar levels when this medicine is used together with insulin.
