• If you are suffering from high blood pressure.
• If you have any heart disease or a liver problem.

Other General Warnings

• You are suffering from a spasm of arteries characterized by vibration, pain and numbness of fingers.
• You have any pre-existing medical condition such as kidney or liver problem.
• You are taking any other medicines containing paracetamol or any other brain-related medicines.
• You symptoms persists for more than 3 days even after taking this medicine.

• Take Tancet Cold tablet as directed by your doctor.
• Swallow entirely with a glass of water, do not cut, break or chew the medicine.
• It will be best if you took it at a fixed time for optimal results and should not consume it more than that prescribed by the doctor.

• Store this medicine at room temperature.
• Keep this medicine out of the reach of children.

How Does It Work?

• Paracetamol inhibits prostaglandin synthesis, which is responsible for pain. It also acts on the thermoregulatory center in the brain and blocks the effect of pyrogen (which is responsible for fever).
• Cetirizine inhibits the allergic symptoms produced by histamines (a certain chemical substance released by the body).
• Phenylephrine acts by constricting the arterioles of the nasal mucosa and helps in nasal decongestion.

Interactions with other medicines

• Certain medicines can interfere with the action of the Tancet Cold tablet or the tablet itself can affect the action of other medicines taken at the same time. Always inform your doctor about all the medicines that you are taking including all prescribed or non-prescribed herbal medicines, dietary supplements as well as if you are taking other treatments for any disorder. In particular, if you are taking medicines to stop vomiting, nausea such as metoclopramide, domperidone, anticoagulant like warfarin, medicines used to treat brain-related diseases such as alprazolam, antihypertensive medicines, muscle relaxants, antibiotics such as chloramphenicol etc. Medicines used to treat high cholesterol, such as Cholestyramine can reduce the absorption speed of Paracetamol.
