Concomitant use of lithium with angiotensin-converting enzyme inhibitors has been linked to reversible increases in serum lithium concentrations and toxicity
Concomitant use of the above medicinal products may lead to increases in serum potassium
Co-administration of metformin with hydrochlorothiazide may induce lactic acidosis
NSAIDs, when given with diuretic and antihypertensives, may reduce the antihypertensive effect
Thiazide diuretics may increase the serum calcium levels due to reduced excretion
Concomitant use of amlodipine with CYP3A4 inhibitors may significantly increase amlodipine exposure
Thiazides may exacerbate the hyperglycaemic impact of beta-blockers and diazoxide
Anticholinergic medicines may increase the bioavailability of thiazide-type diuretics by reducing gastrointestinal motility and the rate at which the stomach empties.
