Storvas 10 MG Description
Storvas 10 tablet is a lipid-lowering medicine containing atorvastatin. It is commonly known as statins. It is used to lower cholesterol and triglyceride levels in the body. This medicine can also be used to reduce the risk of any type of heart disease, like a heart attack. It should be taken as directed by the doctor and in doses and duration as prescribed. It is recommended to take this medicine, preferably before going to bed. You can take Storvas 10 with or without a meal. The cholesterol formation or build-up takes place majorly at night when the body is in its resting phase. Thus, it is more effective when the medicine is taken at night. You should avoid consuming high-fat and fried meals and also maintain a healthy and active lifestyle to gain optimum benefits along with Storvas 10 tablet. Atorva 10 tablets and Lipikind 10 tablets also contain atorvastatin as its active ingredient.

Contraindications of Storvas 10 MG
- If you are allergic to atorvastatin or any other components of Storvas 10 tablet.
- If you have or ever had any liver disease, any abnormality in liver function test.
- If you are being treated with medicines for hepatitis C like glecaprevir/pibrentasvir.
- If you are pregnant, planning a pregnancy or are breastfeeding.

- HIV medications such as ritonavir with Storvas 10 tablet can result in severe side effects.
