Atorvastatin is a lipid-lowering medicine present in Storvas 10mg Tablet. This medicine is commonly known as "Statins" or "HMG-CoA reductase inhibitors". Atorvastatin in Storvas 10mg Tablet acts by blocking the action of the enzyme responsible for the formation of cholesterol level in your body, which ultimately decreases the bad cholesterol levels (LDL) and increases the good cholesterol levels (HDL). It is recommended to take this medicine preferably before going to bed. The cholesterol formation or build-up takes places majorly at night when the body is in its resting phase, thus it is more effective when the medicine is taken at night. You should avoid consuming high fat and fried meals and also maintain a healthy and active lifestyle to gain optimum benefits along with Storvas 10mg Tablet.

How Does It Work?
Cholesterol is made by the enzyme HMG-CoA reductase. Storvas 10mg Tablet inhibits this enzyme thus lowering the bad cholesterol levels (LDL levels), triglyceride levels and also other lipids or fats in the blood. It also increases the good cholesterol known as high-density lipoprotein (HDL) levels.
Directions for Use of Storvas 10 Mg Tablet 30
Storvas 10mg Tablet should be taken as a whole with a glass of water at a fixed time to gain optimal benefits. It should not be broken, crushed or chewed. It is recommended to take it at night before going to the bed.
