Medical Description
Sprycel tablet is a prescription medicine used to treat adults with chronic myeloid leukaemia (CML), a type of blood cancer. It comes as a tablet and is taken by mouth, always under the guidance of a specialist doctor. You can take this medication either with or without food, making it easy to fit into your daily routine.
Inside your body, cancer cells can send signals that tell them to grow and multiply. Sprycel tablet belongs to a group of treatments called kinase inhibitors, which act like a roadblock. By blocking specific abnormal proteins that fuel the cancer, this medicine stops leukaemia cells from surviving and spreading.
Keep taking Sprycel tablet exactly as long and as often as your doctor advises. Because everyone's treatment journey is unique, your specialist will monitor your progress closely to ensure the medicine is working safely and effectively for you.
