Spasmonil Tablet

• For the relief of abdominal pain and cramping caused by intestinal muscle spasms, when prescribed by a doctor.
• For other types of cramping pain only when your doctor determines that this medicine is appropriate.

• If you are allergic to paracetamol, dicyclomine, or any other ingredient of Spasmonil tablet.
• Do not take it with other medicines containing paracetamol or dicyclomine unless your doctor specifically advises you to.
• If you have a urinary tract obstruction, such as a blockage of the urethra or ureter, or difficulty passing urine.
• If you have stomach or intestinal ulcers, or an obstruction of the intestine.
• If you have any heart-related problems or bleeding disorders.
• If you have glaucoma or myasthenia gravis.
• If you have certain serious heart conditions, consult your doctor before use.
• Follow your doctor's advice if you have a bleeding disorder or other significant medical condition.

Other General Warnings

• Talk to your doctor before taking this medicine if:
• You have heart disease or high blood pressure.
• You have muscle weakness (myasthenia gravis) or glaucoma (increased pressure inside the eye).
• You have intestinal problems, or liver or kidney disease.
• You have a fever, especially in hot weather, as dicyclomine can reduce sweating and increase the risk of overheating.
• You have an enlarged prostate or difficulty passing urine.
• You have a hiatus hernia associated with acid reflux or heartburn.
• You have had an allergic reaction to paracetamol, aspirin or other painkillers.
• You are taking any other medicine containing paracetamol, as taking too much can cause serious liver damage.
• You are taking medicines with anticholinergic effects, such as certain antihistamines, travel sickness medicines, medicines for bladder problems or medicines used to treat Parkinson’s disease. Taking them together may increase side effects such as dry mouth, blurred vision, constipation and difficulty passing urine.
• You work outdoors or exercise in hot weather, as dicyclomine can reduce sweating and increase the risk of overheating.
• Seek urgent medical attention if you have severe or worsening abdominal pain, particularly if it is accompanied by fever, persistent vomiting, blood in your vomit or black stools.

• Take Spasmonil tablets as directed by your doctor, with a glass of water. Do not break or chew the tablet.
• Take it with or after food to reduce the risk of stomach upset.
• Do not exceed the dose your doctor prescribed, and do not take it for longer than advised.

• Store Spasmonil tablets in a cool, dry place, protected from direct sunlight, moisture, and heat.
• Keep out of reach of children and pets.
• Do not use expired or damaged medicines.
• Discard any unused medicine properly. Do not flush it in the toilet or throw it into the drain.
• Keep the tablets in the original strip until you take them, and return unused medicine to a pharmacy.

• Spasmonil tablet is a pain reliever and antispasmodic medicine. It treats cramping pain from the gut, urinary tract, and biliary tract, as well as period cramps.
• Take this medicine exactly as your doctor prescribed, including the dose and duration. Take it with or after meals to help prevent stomach upset.
• Before starting Spasmonil tablet, inform your doctor if you are pregnant, planning on becoming pregnant, or breastfeeding. Also inform your doctor about all other medicines you take and your complete medical history.
• Tell your doctor if you have glaucoma, an enlarged prostate, or difficulty passing urine before you start.
• Check with your doctor or pharmacist before taking any other medicine containing paracetamol.
• Seek urgent help for severe or worsening abdominal pain, pain with fever, vomiting blood, or black tarry stools.
