Spasmonil Tablet

• If you are allergic to paracetamol, dicyclomine, or any other Spasmonil tablet ingredients,
• If you are taking any other medicine that contains Paracetamol or Dicyclomine.
• If you have urinary tract disorder, stomach or intestinal ulcers.
• If you have any heart-related problems or bleeding disorders.
• If you have urinary tract disorder, obstruction in the urethra or ureter.
• If you have an eye disorder called glaucoma or you are breastfeeding.
• If you have a muscle-related disorder called myasthenia gravis.
• This medicine should not be given to children below 12 years of age.

• Headache

Other General Warnings

• You have any heart diseases or high blood pressure.
• You have muscle weakness or glaucoma.
• You have problems with your intestines, liver or kidney.
• You have a fever, and you need to be cautious while consuming this medicine.
• You have a prostate disorder or enlarged prostate gland.
• You have indigestion or heartburn due to a hiatus hernia.
• You are allergic to aspirin or other NSAIDs used to treat pain.
• You are taking other medicines containing paracetamol.
• This medicine should not be used in children below 12 years of age.
• This medicine should be used with caution in older people as they may be more sensitive to the side effects.

• Store Spasmonil tablets in a cool and dry place, protected from direct sunlight, moisture and heat.
• Keep it away from children and pets.
• Do not use expired or damaged medicines.
• Discard any unused medicine properly. Do not flush in the toilet or throw it into the drain.

• Spasmonil tablet is a pain reliever and anti-spasmodic medication. It is used to treat spasmodic pain caused by kidney, gallbladder stones, and abdominal cramps during or before menses.
• This medicine must be taken exactly as prescribed by the doctor, in the doses and for the duration prescribed. It's best to take it with or after meals to avoid stomach upset. Do not miss a dose or exceed the amount prescribed by your doctor.
• Before starting Spasmonil tablet, inform your doctor if you are pregnant, planning on becoming pregnant, or breastfeeding. Also, inform your doctor about all other medicines that you take and your complete medical history.
• Do not take any medicine on your own without confirming with your doctor during treatment with Spasmonil tablet.
• This medicine should not be given to children under 12 years of age without a doctor’s advice.
• Loss of appetite, headache, sleepiness, constipation, and nausea/vomiting may occur in some individuals with the use of this medicine. Inform your doctor if these effects bother you or do not go away.
• Tell your doctor if you have a history or have an alcohol addiction.

How Does It Work?

Interactions with other medicines

• Spasmonil tablets may interact with other medications and provide an altered response to the treatment. Please notify your doctor if you are undergoing any other treatments, over-the-counter medications (that you buy without a prescription) or herbal preparations. Also, you should inform your doctor if you have a planned surgery or vaccination schedule.
• Concurrent use of Spasmonil tablets is not recommended, along with medicines to treat glaucoma like Timolol, Bimatoprost, and Latanoprost and medicine to reduce cholesterol like cholestyramine.
• Concurrent use, along with blood thinners like Warfarin and antivitamin K, can increase the risk of bleeding, and thus, you should be cautious.
• You may experience increased side effects along with medicines to treat irregular heartbeats like quinidine, anti-allergy medicines like Phenothiazines, and pain relief medicines like Meperidine.
• Other medicines like Metoclopramide and Domperidone, Chloramphenicol, Loperamide, Neostigmine, Digoxin, and certain antacids should be used cautiously with Spasmonil tablets.

Interactions with food items

• You can take Spasmonil with or without food.
• Taking it after meals may help reduce the chances of stomach upset.
• Avoid alcohol while taking this medicine as it may increase the risk of liver damage (due to paracetamol).
• Reduce intake of very spicy, oily, or heavy foods, as they may worsen abdominal pain or indigestion.
• Drink enough water and include light, easy-to-digest meals to support recovery.
• If you have liver or kidney problems, follow your doctor’s dietary advice carefully.
