Sizodon Ls Tablet Description

Sizodon LS is a combination drug used to treat certain psychotic and mood disorders caused by an imbalance of certain chemicals in the brain, also known as neurotransmitters. It consists of two drugs

, risperidone, and trihexyphenidyl. Risperidone is an atypical antipsychotic mainly used to treat schizophrenia and bipolar disorders. Trihexyphenidyl acts as an anticholinergic with a smooth muscle-relaxing property. It is used for controlling extrapyramidal symptoms.

Sizodon LS should be avoided in pregnancy as it can lead to certain complications like respiratory distress, feeding problems, hypertonia, or hypotonia. Your doctor will weigh the benefit/risk ratio before starting Sizodon LS.

Breast Feeding

Can I take Sizodon LS while breastfeeding?
Avoid taking Sizodon LS while breastfeeding as it is secreted in breast milk. This can pass on to your baby while feeding and cause harmful side effects


Can I drive if I have taken a Sizodon LS?
