Rosuvastatin works by interfering with the process of cholesterol synthesis. Cholesterol is made by an enzyme HMG-CoA reductase, rosuvastatin inhibits this enzyme, thus lowering cholesterol levels. It also increases good cholesterol also known as high-density lipoprotein (HDL) levels....
