- Riscon 1 mg Tablet is used in,
- Treatment of schizophrenia (in adults and children aged 13 and up)
- Treatment of mania
- Treatment of bipolar disorder
- Treatment of autism-associated irritability (in children aged five and up)
Contraindications
- If you are allergic to the active or inactive ingredient of Risdone 1 mg Tablet
- If you have diabetes
- If you have epilepsy
- If you have Parkison’s disease or dementia
- If you have low levels of white blood cells
- If you have high levels of prolactin
- If you have a family history of blood clots
- If you have been diagnosed with heart problems
- If you have liver problems
- If you have kidney problems
- If you have low blood pressure
- If you have a history of substance abuse
- If you have breast cancer
- If you are overweight
- If you have dehydration
Side effects
- Severe signs of allergy (fever, rash, itching, swelling of lips or tongue)
- Signs of blood clot or stroke (swelling, redness of legs, difficulty in breathing, slurred speech)

- You experience symptoms of allergy like rashes, hives, swelling of face or throat, itching, etc., after taking this medicine.
- You experience a sudden change in mood or behaviour, anxiety or panic attacks, trouble sleeping, or if you feel impulsive, irritable, agitated, hostile, aggressive, restless, hyperactive (mentally or physically), more depressed, or have thoughts about suicide or hurting yourself.
- You have uncontrolled muscle movements.
- You experience a mask-like appearance of the face, trouble swallowing, and problems with speech.
- You have light-headedness.
- You have severe constipation.
- You experience painful or difficult urination.
- You have blurred vision.
- You have a severe nervous system reaction-very stiff (rigid) muscles, high fever, sweating, confusion, fast or uneven heartbeats, tremors, fainting.
- You have a sudden rise in weight and high blood sugars.
- You are planning a pregnancy.
Directions for Use
- Riscon 1 mg Tablet should always be consumed under a medical doctor’s supervision.
- Swallow Riscon Tablet as a whole with water. Don't break, crush, or chew it.
- For optimal pharmacological effects, take the recommended dose of Riscon Tablet at the same time every day for the prescribed duration.
- Do not alter the dosage of Riscon Tablets without consulting with your doctor.
- Do not abruptly stop consuming Riscon Tablets as it can cause withdrawal symptoms.
