Riscon 1 MG Description

Riscon 1 mg Tablet contains risperidone. Risperidone falls under a group of medicines called antipsychotics. It is used in the treatment of mental conditions such as schizophrenia, mania or bipolar d

isorders. Riscon 1 mg Tablet should always be consumed under a medical doctor’s supervision. Conditions such as diabetes, heart diseases, liver conditions, menstrual issues, pregnancy, breastfeeding should be discussed with the prescribing doctor. Do not stop consuming this medicine abruptly as it can cause withdrawal symptoms such as vomiting, nausea, headaches, diarrhoea, headaches, sleeplessness or may even develop suicidal thoughts. Drink plenty of water with this medicine.

No. Some reports have suggested that taking risperidone(active ingredient of Riscon Tablet) during pregnancy might lead to low birth weight in babies. Consult your doctor if you conceive while on treatment with Riscon Tablet. Stopping this treatment may increase the chance of relapse of symptoms. Untreated and undertreated psychiatric disorders may increase the chance of pregnancy complications. Please seek medical advice.

No. Risperidone present in Riscon 1 mg Tablet passes in breast milk in small quantities.
