Description
Remo Zen Mv tablet is an anti-diabetic medication. It is used to improve blood glucose levels in adults with type 2 diabetes mellitus, in addition to diet and exercise. Uses
- Remo Zen Mv tablet is used: To improve the levels of blood sugar in adults with type 2 diabetes mellitus, along with diet and exercise.
- In combination therapy, when other medications, such as insulin, are unable to adequately control blood sugar levels.
Contraindications
- If you are allergic to vildagliptin, remogliflozin, metformin, or any other ingredient of Remo Zen Mv tablet.
- If you have kidney disorders.
- If you have dehydration, severe infection, or shock.
- If you have been given iodinated contrast agents through your veins.
- If you have congestive heart failure.
- If you have metabolic acidosis - a condition where there is too much acid in the body fluids, with or without coma.
- If you have any disease that may cause a deficiency of oxygen supply to the tissues, like heart failure, a recent heart attack, or shock.
- If you are breastfeeding.
- If you are addicted to alcohol.

- You have Type 1 diabetes. This medicine should not be taken in such cases.
- You have diabetic ketoacidosis (a serious complication of diabetes).
- You have kidney or liver disease.

- You have, or have had, pancreatic disease.
- You develop severe joint pain after taking this medicine.
- You have any condition that may cause dehydration (severe diarrhea or vomiting, fever, or reduced fluid intake).
- You take medicines called diuretics, such as furosemide, ethacrynic acid, hydrochlorothiazide, spironolactone, or acetazolamide (used to treat fluid accumulation), blood pressure-reducing medicines, or nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory medicines such as aspirin or ibuprofen (used to treat pain, fever, and inflammation)....
- You drink alcohol regularly.
- Your diabetes is inadequately controlled, or you have ketosis.
- You have been fasting for an extended period.
- You have any disease that may cause a deficiency of oxygen supply to the tissues, such as heart failure, a recent heart attack, or shock.
- You develop symptoms such as abdominal pain, muscle cramps, weakness, and hypothermia after taking this medicine.
- You experience nausea, vomiting, anorexia, abdominal pain, excessive thirst, difficulty breathing, confusion, unusual fatigue or sleepiness after taking Remo Zen Mv tablet.
- You have been scheduled for the administration of iodinated contrast agents via your veins.
- You are scheduled for surgery under anesthesia.
- You have low vitamin B12 levels.
- You are elderly, debilitated, or malnourished.
- You do strenuous exercise.
- You develop a urinary tract infection (burning with urination, cloudy urine, strong-smelling urine, red, bright pink, or cola-colored urine).
- You develop symptoms such as pain or tenderness, redness of the skin, or swelling in the genital or perineal area, along with fever or general discomfort after taking Remo Zen Mv tablet.
- You take oral contraceptives as a method of birth control.
Directions for Use
- Take Remo Zen Mv tablet as a whole with sufficient water.
- Always take this medicine exactly as prescribed by your doctor.
- Take this medicine at the same time every day, preferably with meals, for optimal benefits.
- Do not cut, break, or chew the medicine.
- Do not exceed the prescribed dose.
- Do not discontinue medication without consulting your physician.
Storage and disposal

Overdose
- Symptoms of overdose of Remo Zen Mv tablet include fever, swelling in the hands, arms, legs or feet, muscle pain, and a burning or prickling sensation.
- If you think you have taken too much of this medicine, contact your doctor immediately or visit the nearest hospital.
Missed a Dose
- You should never miss your blood sugar medications, as they may lead to high blood sugar and associated symptoms.
- However, if you missed a dose of the medicine, take it as soon as you remember.
- If it's time for your next dose, then skip the missed dose and continue with your regular dosing schedule.
- Do not take a double dose to compensate for the missed one.

How Does It Work?
- Remo Zen Mv tablet contains a combination of vildagliptin, metformin, and remogliflozin as active substances.

- The levels of Remo Zen Mv tablet in the body may be increased when used together with medicines like cimetidine (used to treat acidity and peptic ulcers), dolutegravir (used for the management of HIV), ranolazine (used for the management of heart-related chest pain), and vandetanib (used to manage thyroid cancer)....
- Remo Zen Mv tablet taken along with ACE inhibitors like enalapril and angiotensin II receptor antagonists like losartan (used to manage high blood pressure) may increase the risk of lactic acidosis.
- Certain medicines, when used together with Remo Zen Mv tablets, may lead to loss of blood sugar control.
