Dosage

Overdose

Taking too much may worsen hot flushes, fatigue, diarrhea, or other hormone-related effects. If you think you have taken too much of this medicine, contact your doctor immediately or visit the nearest hospital.

Missed a Dose

If you missed any dose of medicine, take it as soon as you remember. If it's time for your next dose, then skip the missed dose and continue with your regular dose schedule. Do not take a double dose of medicine to compensate for the missed one.

How does this medicine work?

Relugolix blocks a hormone receptor signal that normally stimulates testosterone production. Lower testosterone can slow the growth of hormone-sensitive prostate cancer.

Interactions

Some medicines can affect the way relugolix works or increase unwanted effects. Tell your doctor about all medicines, supplements, and herbal products you use. In particular, mention medicines that inhibit P-glycoprotein, combined P-glycoprotein and strong cytochrome inducers, and medicines that prolong the QT interval.

Interactions with food items

Relugolix may be taken with or without food. Follow your clinician's instructions.
