Razel F 10mg Strip Of 10 Tablets Description

Razel F 10mg strip of 10 tablets contains rosuvastatin and fenofibrate as the active components. This tablets is primarily used to lower cholesterol levels in the blood, thereby, reducing the risk of

heart problems. Fenofibrate increases the activity of natural substances in the body which helps to reduce bad cholesterol and increase the production of good cholesterol. Rosuvastatin works by inhibiting a natural substance that causes the production of cholesterol. It acts on the liver to reduce bad cholesterol in the body. Razel F 10mg tablets are available on a doctor's prescription and should be consumed at a dose and for a duration recommended by a doctor. Razel F 10mg tablets are not recommended in children below 18 years, if you have an allergy to any ingredients of this medication, or if you have existing health problems such as heart problems, liver problems, kidney problems, thyroid problems, pancreatitis, gall bladder disease, biliary cirrhosis, or myopathy. These tablets commonly cause stomach pain, nausea, diarrhoea, vomiting, flatulence, and headache as side effects. If these effects persist or you experience some other problems, seek medical help immediately.

  • Concomitant use of gemfibrozil, ezetimibe, and protease inhibitors such as atazanavir and ritonavir increases blood levels of rosuvastatin
  • Rosuvastatin reduces the blood levels of oral contraceptives or hormonal supplements when used together
  • Concomitant use of oral anticoagulants increases bleeding risk
  • Concomitant use of ciclosporin raises blood levels of rosuvastatin by 7 times and causes impairment in kidney function
  • Concomitant use of medications that inhibit transporter proteins increases rosuvastatin blood levels and the risk of myopathy
  • Concomitant use of antacids, erythromycin reduces the blood levels of rosuvastatin
