Description
Rafron Dsr capsule is an anti-reflux medicine used to treat gastrointestinal reflux disease (GERD). It contains a combination of two medicines - rabeprazole and domperidone.
Gastrointestinal reflux disease or GERD, is a condition in which acid from the stomach flows back to the food pipe and causes heartburn, belching, nausea and chest pain. It works by reducing the amount of acid produced in the stomach and improving the motility in the gut, thus reducing the backflow of stomach content into the food pipe.
Rafron Dsr capsule should be taken as directed by the doctor and in doses and duration as prescribed. Do not miss any dose or take it more often than your doctor prescribes.

Contraindications
- If you are allergic to Rabeprazole or Domperidone or any of the ingredients of Rafron Dsr capsule.
- If you are suffering from any liver or kidney problems.

- If you are taking any medicine which might affect the contraction of the heart muscle (QT prolongation).

How Does It Work?
- Rabeprazole belongs to the class of medicines called proton pump inhibitors. The lining of the stomach secretes acid by certain processes that involve the intake of ions via a proton pump in the cells. - Medicines used for your mental health, like Diazepam and Phenytoin, should also be used with caution.
