Medical Description
Rabemac OS suspension is a combination medicine for short-term relief of excess stomach acid, heartburn, indigestion, stomach discomfort, gas and bloating. It contains aluminium hydroxide and magnesium hydroxide, which neutralise stomach acid, dimethicone, which disperses gas bubbles, and oxetacaine, which temporarily numbs the stomach lining to reduce burning and pain. The mineral ingredients reduce acidity, dimethicone helps trapped gas pass more easily, and oxetacaine reduces the sensation of discomfort. The suspension is taken by mouth after shaking well and measuring it with the supplied device, and continuous use should be reviewed by a doctor.
