Psorid 100 capsule is used to prevent the rejection of the transplanted organ by the body. Psorid 100 capsule contains cyclosporin as its active ingredients. This medicine acts by suppressing the bod
y’s immune response and thus helps in preventing the rejection of the transplanted organ. Take this medicine as advised by your doctor. Inform your doctor if you have liver or kidney disease, electrolyte imbalance, high blood pressure or any other medical condition. Apply sunscreen lotion while stepping out in direct sunlight.

Contraindications of Psorid 100 MG
- If you are allergic to cyclosporin or any of the ingredients of Psorid 100 capsule.
- If you are taking medicines like St John's Wort (traditionally used in folk medicine).
- If you are taking medicines such as dabigatran (used to prevent blood clots after surgery), bosentan, aliskiren (used to treat high blood pressure).

How Does It Work?
- When there is an organ or graft transplant in any patient, the body takes the donor organ or graft as a foreign substance and tries to reject it by forming special cells against it. This process may lead to organ or graft rejection....
- Cyclosporin blocks the formation of these cells and prevents the rejection of transplanted tissue.
- The immune system normally protects against microorganisms like bacteria and viruses. When it senses any foreign substances, it develops fighter cells to attack them.

- Take medicine as a whole with a sufficient amount of water, at a fixed time to gain optimal benefit.
- Do not break, crush or chew the medicine.
- Always take this medicine exactly as your doctor advised by your doctor.

Interactions with other medicines
- Some medicines can affect the way the Psorid capsule works, or the Psorid capsule itself can reduce the effectiveness of other medicines taken at the same time.
- Tell your doctor about all the medicines, supplements, or herbals you are currently taking or might take to avoid any possible interaction.
- Especially if you are taking medicines to treat high blood pressure, heart failure, high/abnormal cholesterol levels, blood thinners, anti-infectives, anti-diabetics, anti-asthmatics, pain killers, immunomodulatory medicines or medicines for the brain-related disorder....
- Concomitant use of cyclosporin with nifedipine (high blood pressure) might result in swollen gums that might grow over your teeth.

Do not take this medicine with grapefruit or grapefruit juice.

- Store below 30°C in the original package.

Dosage of Psorid 100 MG
Overdose
Excess of Psorid capsule may cause vomiting, dizziness, increased heartbeat, severe headache and damage to kidneys. If you have taken too much of this medicine, inform your doctor and reach out to the nearest hospital....
Missed a Dose
If you forget a dose, take it as soon as you remember it. However, if it is nearly time for the next dose, skip the missed dose. Do not take a double dose to make up for a forgotten dose.
