oving symptoms such as itching, swelling, redness, rashes, scaly and patchy skin. It works by blocking the action of a substance called histamine, which produces allergies. Take this medicine in doses and duration as prescribed by the doctor. Uses of Prugo 10 MG

Prugo 10 mg tablet is used in managing skin allergies such as pruritus, urticaria and eczema.

Contraindications of Prugo 10 MG

If you are allergic to Hydroxyzine, other anti-allergic medicines or other ingredients of Prugo 10 mg tablets.
If you have irregular heart rhythms and a family history of sudden death due to heart disorder.
If you have or had cardiovascular disease or if your heart rate is very low.
If you have low salt levels in your body (e.g. low level of potassium or magnesium).
If you are an asthmatic with a history of asthmatic attack upon anti-allergic use.
If you have porphyria (a disease that causes stomach pain, constipation, change in the colour of urine, skin rashes and disturbing behaviour).
If you are pregnant, you think you might be pregnant or breastfeeding.

Pregnancy

Can I take Prugo 10 mg Tablet during pregnancy?

Breast Feeding

Can I take Prugo 10 mg Tablet while breastfeeding?

It is advisable not to breastfeed during the treatment with Prugo 10 mg tablets as it may harm the baby. Your doctor will decide whether to discontinue the medicine or breastfeeding after accessing the benefit of treatment to the mother and breastfeeding to the baby.

Can I drive if I have consumed Prugo 10 mg Tablet?

Prugo 10 mg tablets may make you drowsy, dizzy and make you feel less alert than usual for the first few days after you take it. If you are affected, do not drive or operate machinery until this effect has worn off.

Alcohol

Can I consume alcohol with Prugo 10 mg Tablet?

You should not take alcohol with Prugo 10 mg tablets because the sedative effects of alcohol may increase.
