Pregabalin reduces the release of pain signals from overactive nerves, which can ease nerve-related pain. Mecobalamin, an active form of vitamin B12, supports nerve maintenance and repair. Alpha lipoic acid provides antioxidant protection for nerve cells. Pyridoxine and folic acid support nerve function, cell formation and normal metabolism. The combination addresses pain signalling and nutritional support together.

Interactions

Interactions with other medicines

Some medicines can affect the way Premala capsule works. Tell your doctor about all the medicines, vitamins and supplements you take. In particular, mention opioid pain medicines, sleeping medicines, anxiety medicines, antihistamines and other medicines that cause sleepiness, as combined use may worsen drowsiness or slow breathing. Tell your doctor about diabetes treatment because alpha lipoic acid may lower blood sugar further.
