Medical Description
Pregaba-NT tablet is used for the treatment of neuropathic pain, which is long-lasting pain caused by nerve damage due to diabetes, shingles or spinal cord injury. It contains a combination of pregabalin and nortriptyline as the active ingredients.
Pregabid NT tablets, Resner Plus tablets, Pregalin NT 75/10 tablets, Meganeuron NT 75 mg tablets and PBren NT tablets also contain a combination of pregabalin and nortriptyline. Pregaba-NT tablet should be taken as directed by the doctor and in doses and duration as prescribed. It can be taken with or without food, but it is important to take this medicine at the same time every day.
Before starting this medicine, inform your doctor if you are pregnant, planning a pregnancy or breastfeeding and about all the medicines and supplements you take. Also, inform about all the conditions or diseases you suffer from.
Uses
- Pregaba-NT tablet is used for the treatment of of long-lasting pain from nerve damage caused by diabetes, shingles, or spinal cord injury.
- It is also used for the treatment of low back pain and muscle pain.
Contraindications
- If you are allergic to nortriptyline, pregabalin, or any ingredient present in Pregaba-NT tablet.
- If you have health conditions like diabetes, high blood pressure, heart diseases, liver or kidney disorder, etc.
- If you are currently taking any antidepressant medications. If you are not sure what these medicines are, please confirm with your doctor.
- If you have a history of cardiac arrest or heart failure.

- Pregaba-NT tablet contains nortriptyline and pregabalin as its active ingredients.

- Nortriptyline works by acting on the release of certain chemicals and electrical activity in the brain which turns down the increased pain signals to the brain and relieves nerve pain.
