Powercort-S lotion is used on affected skin to treat psoriasis and eczema, which can cause thick, dry, red or itchy patches. It contains a combination of clobetasol, a strong steroid for short-term use as prescribed, and salicylic acid, which softens thick scales. Clobetasol reduces skin inflammation, while salicylic acid loosens built-up surface cells and helps the steroid reach thickened skin. Powercort-S lotion is for external use only and should be applied to the affected areas for the period advised by your doctor.
