Contraindications
- If you are allergic to chlorpheniramine or any of the other ingredients of this medicine.
- If you have a stomach or duodenal ulcer.
- If you have glaucoma, a condition where eye pressure is increased.
- If you have a urinary bladder or prostate problem.
- If you have taken or taking medicines for psychiatric disorders (MAO inhibitors).
- This medicine should not be given to a child less than 6-years of age.

- It is not recommended to use this syrup in children below 2 years of age.
- You need to stop using Piriton expectorent and ask a doctor if the cough lasts more than 7 days, comes back or is accompanied by a fever, rash or persistent headache. These could be the signs of a serious ailment.
