Pamaspas Plus tablet is used to relieve menstrual discomfort. It reduces the intensity of cramps and lessens pain sensitivity. Relaxing the muscles in the uterus and digestive system minimises painful contractions and spasms. It helps reduce water retention, alleviating bloating, breast tenderness, and the heavy feeling often experienced during menstruation. It also provides relief from emotional symptoms such as mood swings and irritability.

If you are allergic to this medicine, have kidney or blood problems, or have a history of seizures, you should not take it. Always follow your doctor's instructions when taking this medicine. Take the correct dose for the exact amount of time prescribed. Before starting this medicine, tell your doctor if you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or breastfeeding, and about all the medicines and supplements you take, as well as any health conditions you have.

Contraindications

If you are having a history of allergy to this medicine or any of the component of this medicine. If you have any underlying medical condition like high blood pressure, heart-related disorder, liver or kidney related problem etc. If you are pregnant or a breastfeeding mother. If you are suffering from a condition of high pressure inside the eyes (glaucoma). If you experience difficulty in passing urine. Do not use it in children under 6 months of age.

Overdose

Missed a Dose

If you have missed taking a dose of this medicine, take it as soon as you remember it. However, if it is nearly time for the next dose, skip the missed dose. Do not take a double dose of this medicine to make up for the forgotten dose. Do not stop taking this medicine without a doctor’s advice, as this may result in a flare-up of symptoms.

Mode of Action

How Does It Work?

Pamaspas Plus Tablet combines three medications: Dicyclomine, Mefenamic Acid, and Pamabrom. Dicyclomine is an antispasmodic that relaxes stomach muscles, alleviating cramps and bloating. Mefenamic Acid, an NSAID, reduces pain by blocking prostaglandins. Pamabrom is a diuretic that increases urine production to relieve premenstrual symptoms like bloating and water retention.
