OxraMet tablet is used for the treatment of Type 2 diabetes mellitus along with diet and exercise in adults. OxraMet contains dapagliflozin and metformin as active ingredient. It is an antidiabetic m

edicine. Type 2 diabetes mellitus is a condition where your blood sugar levels are high. This medicine acts by lowering the raised blood sugar level. OxraMet tablet is to be used only in adults aged 18 years and older. Take this medicine exactly as recommended by your doctor. You must exercise regularly and have a balanced diet while taking OxraMet tablets for adequate control of your blood sugar levels. Uncontrolled blood sugar levels may result in serious health consequences such as heart disease, kidney disease, blindness and poor blood flow in your hands and legs.

OxraMet tablet is an anti-diabetic medication that is used to treat Type 2 diabetes mellitus in adults along with diet and exercise.

Contraindications of Oxramet 5/1000mg Strip Of 14 Tablets

If you are allergic to dapagliflozin, metformin or any other ingredient of OxraMet tablet.
If you have kidney disease or liver disease.
If you drink alcohol or alcohol-containing beverages excessively or regularly.
If you had a heart attack, shock, breathing problems or any other disease which may reduce the amount of oxygen supplied to the body tissues.
If you have very low/very high blood sugar levels, diabetic ketoacidosis (a serious complication of diabetes) or lactic acidosis.
If you have a severe infection or are dehydrated.

OxraMet tablet should not be used if undergoing X-ray with a certain type of injectable dye called iodinated contrast agents and with medicines used to treat stomach acidity (cimetidine).
