Medical Description
Optineuron Forte injection is used to correct vitamin B12 and other B-vitamin deficiencies, including pernicious anaemia and reduced absorption after some gastrointestinal surgeries. It contains a combination of cyanocobalamin, pyridoxine hydrochloride, thiamine hydrochloride and D-panthenol, with benzyl alcohol as part of the formulation. Cyanocobalamin supports nerve cells and red blood cell formation, while the other vitamins support nerve function, energy metabolism and coenzyme formation. The injection supplies these nutrients when deficiency or poor absorption makes replacement necessary. Optineuron Forte injection is given by a doctor or nurse by injection and is not self-administered.
