Nindanib 150 Soft Gelatin Capsule is used to treat a rare lung disease known as Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis (IPF). It is also prescribed for specific forms of lung cancer in combination with another anticancer medication called docetaxel. The active ingredient in Nindanib 150 Soft Gelatin Capsule is nintedanib, which works by inhibiting the activity of certain enzymes called tyrosine kinases that contribute to fibrosis (scarring), thereby helping to slow the progression of lung scarring.
For optimal results, take Nindanib 150 Soft Gelatin Capsule with food at the same time every day. Your doctor will determine the appropriate dosage and schedule for you, which may be adjusted as necessary. Follow your doctor's instructions carefully, as improper use or an overdose can lead to serious side effects. Do not discontinue this medication without consulting your doctor, even if it takes weeks or months to notice any benefits.
A very common side effect of this medicine is diarrhoea. It is essential to drink plenty of fluids and consult your doctor if symptoms persist.
