Interactions with other medicines

• If Estradiol and Newcita medicines are taken simultaneously, the desired effect of contraceptive tablets will not be achieved. Newcita reduces the effectiveness of estradiol leading to contraceptive failures
• If Amikacin is taken with Newcita tablet, you may have nausea or vomiting, increased or reduced urine, abrupt weight gain, and fluid retention. If you have kidney problems, this interaction is more likely.
• If Furosemide and Newcita medicines are taken together, you may have nausea or vomiting, increased or reduced urine, abrupt weight gain, and fluid retention. This interaction is more likely to happen in elderly people who already have kidney disease.
• Chloramphenicol and Newcita when used simultaneously, the anticipated effect will not be achieved.

Interactions with food items

• Newcita 10 Tablet is said to interact with grapefruit juice. So ensure to avoid alcohol and grapefruit juice while taking this medication.
