Mode of Action of Nayantob Dx Eye Oint 5gm

How Does It Work?

Dexamethasone diminishes inflammatory response, whilst tobramycin is a bactericidal and exhibits both immediate and delayed killing.

Directions for Use of Nayantob Dx Eye Oint 5gm

One or two drops of Nayantob Dx Eye ointment is administered topically. This may differ based on the patient, consult your doctor.

Interactions of Nayantob Dx Eye Oint 5gm

Interactions with other medicines

Anticholinergics may increase the intraocular pressure with dexamethasone
Phenytoin, phenobarbitone, ephedrine and rifampicin may reduce the therapeutic effect of dexamethasone
Dexamethasone increases the plasma salicylate clearance rate
Aspirin may decrease the excretion rate of tobramycin
Risk of adverse effects is increased when tobramycin is given with trimethaphan
Efficacy of acetylcholine is decreased with tobramycin
If you consume other medications, do mention it to your physician before administering Nayantob Dx Eye ointment
