Nax-B gel is a topical antibiotic used to treat acne. This gel contains clindamycin and benzyl peroxide as its active ingredient. It works by stopping the growth of acne-causing bacteria, by inhibiti

  • Avoid applying it on the eyes, mouth, lips and cuts or wounds on the skin, as caution should be exercised while applying medication around these areas.
  • Avoid contact with hair, fabrics and furniture as it may bleach the substance.
  • Avoid exposure to direct sunlight, wear protective clothes and apply sunscreen before stepping out.

  • Clindamycin inhibits bacterial protein synthesis, which is required by bacteria to grow and function. It inhibits the growth of bacteria and prevents the infection from spreading.
  • Benzyl peroxide acts by removing the dead skin cell and unclogging the pores, as well as preventing the growth of infection-causing bacteria.
