Medical Description

Mox 250mg capsule contains amoxicillin, an antibiotic belonging to the 'Penicillin' group of medicine. It is used to treat various bacterial infections of the skin, lungs, airways, ear, dental, urinary tract and throat. Amoxicillin in Mox 250mg capsule stops the growth of bacteria by inhibiting the formation of the bacterial cell wall, resulting in bacterial cell death. You should always take this antibiotic as prescribed by your doctor for the prescribed duration. If you miss or skip the dose of this medicine, it may result in treatment failure and reoccurrence of the symptoms.

Uses

Mox 250mg capsule is used to treat various bacterial infections of lungs, airways, ear, throat, tonsils, urinary tract, dental, stomach-intestine, skin.

  • You have glandular fever (symptoms includes fever, extreme tiredness, sore throat and swollen glands).
  • You have any existing health conditions like liver or kidney problems.
  • You have difficulty urinating.

Directions for Use

Mox 250mg capsule should be taken as directed by your doctor. Swallow it whole with a glass of water. Take it at a fixed time for optimal results. Do not consume it more than that prescribed by your doctor.
