Momate-F cream is a combination medicine containing mometasone, which is a steroid and ausidic acid, an antibiotic medicine. It is used for the treatment of skin infections associated with swelling w
here bacterial infection is present or can occur. It works by decreasing the formation and action of chemicals responsible for the swelling and redness of the skin. It also works by stopping the growth of bacteria. Burning, thinning, itching or irritation at the site of application may be seen as side effects of this medicine. If side effects bother you or your condition doesn't improve after using this medicine, contact your doctor.

Mode of Action of Momate F Tube Of 10gm Cream
How Does It Work?
- Mometasone is a topical steroid which decreases inflammation thus reduces redness, scaling and itching associated with it.
- Fusidic acid is an antibiotic which stops growth and multiplication of bacteria. This results in the death of bacteria.
Directions for Use of Momate F Tube Of 10gm Cream
- Use Momate-F cream as directed by your doctor.
- For external use only, apply it on a healthy skin surface free from cuts and wounds.
- Wash your hands before and after using this medicine unless your hands are the area to be treated.
- In case your eyes come in contact with this medicine, rinse your eyes with clean water immediately.
Interactions of Momate F Tube Of 10gm Cream
Interactions with other medicines
- Concomitant use of medicines used in psoriasis such as anthralin should be avoided, as this will increase symptoms of psoriasis. Therefore, stop applying this medicine 1 week before starting using anthralin medicine....
- Since Momate-F cream is to be used externally on the skin, it is less likely to interact with other medicines. However, always consult your doctor if you are taking other medicines for treating other health conditions....
Storage and disposal of Momate F Tube Of 10gm Cream
Store at temperature below 25°c, in a cool and dry place. Do not freeze.
Keep it out of the reach of children and pets.

Overdose
- As this Momate-F cream is meant for external application, cases of overdose are unlikely. However, upon accidental ingestion, contact your doctor immediately or visit the nearest hospital.
