Medical Description

spond to omeprazole therapy alone. Gastrointestinal reflux disease or GERD is a condition where acid from the stomach comes up to the food pipe. This backflow of acid irritates the lining of the food pipe and leads to chest pain and heartburn. This medicine should be taken as directed by the doctor and in doses and duration as prescribed. Take this capsule at least 30 mins before food. Do not miss any dose or take it more often than prescribed by your doctor. Along with taking medicine on time, making certain lifestyle modifications can help to manage your acidity problem better. Try eating smaller meals, eat slowly and avoid overeating and lying down immediately after having a meal. Inform your doctor if you are pregnant, planning a pregnancy or breastfeeding about all the medicines and supplements you take and all the conditions or diseases you suffer from before starting Mole D capsule.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

^

Q: Is there any danger of taking this medicine for too long?

A: Yes, taking any medicine for too long or in too much quantity has it's own side effects

Q: Does smoking and alcohol increase acidity and GERD?

A: Yes, both cause an increase in acidity. Smoking also relaxes a valve present between the food pipe and stomach. This leads to stomach acid coming back upwards in the food pipe. This worsens reflux/ GERD disorders.

Q: What is the use of Mole D capsule?

A: Mole D capsule is used to treat GERD (Gastrointestinal reflux disease), not responding to omeprazole alone. It helps in relieving symptoms such as heartburn, or acidity.
