Medical Description

Misopt Eye Drop is a combination of Dorzolamide and Timolol. It is used to lower the pressure within the eye (ocular hypertension) and for open-angle glaucoma. It works by reducing the production of aqueous humour (the fluid in the eye), which in turn lowers the eye pressure. It should not be used in children under the age of two. Misopt Eye Drops should be applied externally only. Avoid using contact lenses. Do not touch the dropper with your eye. Inform your doctor if you have heart or respiratory conditions or are taking other medications. You may experience eye irritation, a burning sensation, dryness, or blurred vision. If these symptoms do not resolve or worsen, consult your doctor.
