Minirin Melt 60mcg Strip Of 10 Tablets
Description
Minirin Melt 60 mcg Tablet is used to treat irregular fluid balance (cranial diabetes insipidus) and bedwetting (primary nocturnal enuresis). This medication belongs to a group of medicines called vasopressin analogues, which work to reduce the amount of urine the body produces. It contains desmopressin as its main active ingredient, which mimics the action of a natural hormone in the body called vasopressin. This hormone helps the kidneys reduce the amount of urine they produce. By taking this medicine, you will produce less urine, which helps relieve symptoms.
This medicine is for sublingual use. Place the tablet under your tongue and allow it to dissolve. Do not swallow or chew the tablet, and do not take it with water. Common side effects of this medicine include prolonged headache, confusion, unexplained weight gain, ankle swelling, nausea and vomiting. It is advisable to limit fluid intake according to your doctor's advice.
