Met Xl R Tablet is used in the treatment of essential hypertension (high blood pressure without secondary cause).

Contraindications of Met Xl R 25/2.5mg Strip Of 15 Tablets

If you are allergic to any ingredients present in the Met Xl R Tablet.
If you have a known history of angioedema (swelling due to excess fluid filled under the skin).
Do not take the Met Xl R Tablet with a combination of sacubitril/valsartan therapy (heart medicine). If you are unsure it is recommended to consult your doctor.
If you have any kind of heart-related problem or kidney problems, high/low blood pressure or any other pre-existing health condition.
If you are diabetic and having other anti-hypertensive medicines like aliskiren.
If you are pregnant.
If you have sick sinus syndrome (pacemaker problem in the heart).
