Medical Description
Materna Hmg Dry powder for injection is used in supervised fertility treatment for female infertility, male infertility and male hypogonadism. It contains menotrophin, a combination of reproductive hormones that stimulates follicle development in the ovaries and supports sperm production in selected men. In women, follicle growth may help an egg mature; in men, hormone stimulation may support testicular function and sperm production. Materna Hmg injection is prepared and given by a doctor or nurse in a hospital or clinic and must not be self-injected.
