Linid Tablet

• If you are allergic to linezolid or any of the ingredients of Linid tablet.
• If you are taking or recently had taken medicines for brain-related diseases like phenelzine, selegiline, or moclobemide in the last 2 weeks.
• If you are a breastfeeding mother.

• Headache
• Taste changes
• Diarrhoea
• Nausea
• Vomiting

Other General Warnings

• You have underlying medical conditions like high blood pressure, thyroid problems, psychiatric disorders, or liver or kidneys problems.
• You are anaemic or if you bruise or bleed easily.
• You have a history of fits/seizures.
• You experience eye-related problems like blurred vision or a change in colour vision after taking this medicine.
• You develop persistent diarrhoea after taking this medicine.

• Linid tablet should be taken orally with a sufficient amount of water.
• Do not break, chew, or crush the tablet.
• You should preferably take this medicine every day at the same time.
• Do not change your dose or stop taking it without consulting your doctor.

• Store Linid tablet in a cool and dry place protected from light.
• Keep out of reach of children and pets.

• Linid 600mg tablet is an antibiotic. It is used in the treatment of respiratory tract like pneumonia, skin infections, etc.
• It should not be used for treating any other condition unless specified by the doctor.
• Do not take more or less than the recommended dose.
• You should always complete the entire course of treatment with antibiotics as prescribed by your doctor, even if you start feeling better after taking this medicine.
• Missing a dose or stopping this medicine can cause treatment failure.
• Inform your doctor if you are pregnant, planning on becoming pregnant or breastfeeding before taking Linid 600mg tablet.
• If you conceive while taking this medicine, stop taking this medicine immediately and inform your doctor.
• Also, inform your doctor about all other medicines that you take and your complete medical history, especially if you are taking medicines for psychiatric diseases.
• Headache, taste change, diarrhoea and nausea/vomiting may occur in some individuals with the use of this medicine. Inform your doctor if these effects bother you or do not go away.
• You should avoid driving, operating heavy machinery or performing any tasks that require mental alertness if you experience sleepiness or drowsiness after taking Linid 600mg tablet.

• Linid tablet may affect the way other medicines work, and other medicines may affect how this medicine works if taken at the same time.
• Tell your doctor about all the medicines, supplements, or herbals you are currently taking or might take to avoid any possible interaction.
• Especially if you are taking medicines for psychiatric disorders such as phenelzine, selegiline, medicines used for migraines like sumatriptan, antidepressants, anti-tuberculosis medicines like rifampicin, blood thinners like warfarin, and medicines used to treat low blood pressure like dopamine.
