Medical Description
Lethyrox 25 tablet is used to treat hypothyroidism, where your thyroid gland cannot provide sufficient thyroxine for the proper functioning of the body. Do not take more than the prescribed dose. If you observe any severe side effects, contact your doctor immediately or rush to the nearest hospital. Euthyrox 25 tablets, Thyronorm 25 tablets and Thyrofit 25 tablet are some other medicines containing levothyroxine as the main ingredient. Store the medication in a cool and dry place, away from direct sunlight and moisture. Before starting the treatment, give a detailed account of your medical history and current medications.

Interactions with other medicines
- Do not take this medication with warfarin, which can reduce the effect of warfarin
- Avoid using this medication with anti-depressants, NSAIDs, beta-blockers, antacids and rifampin
- Dosage adjustment will be required when used along with anti-diabetic medications, lipid-lowering drugs, and anti-convulsants medication

- Monitoring is required when this medication is used in elderly patients
- ECG changes can be seen if used with cardiac medicine; hence monitoring is required
