Description

Leekuf Tablet is a medication used to treat the common cold and cough. It can relieve symptoms such as a runny or stuffy nose, sneezing, watery eyes, and congestion. It combines three medicines: chlo

rpheniramine, dextromethorphan, and phenylephrine, which have anti-allergic, cough suppressant, and decongestant properties. Caution should be exercised when driving or operating any machinery, as this Tablet may cause dizziness. Leekuf Tablet can be taken with or without food, in a dose and duration advised by your doctor. The prescribed dosage will depend on your condition and response to the medication. You should continue taking this medicine for as long as recommended by your doctor. If you stop treatment too early, your symptoms may return, and your condition may worsen. Inform your healthcare team about all other medications you are taking, as some may interact with this medicine. Common side effects include headache, sedation, double vision, vomiting, diarrhea, dry mouth, and nausea. Most of these effects are temporary and usually resolve over time. Contact your doctor immediately if you have any concerns about these side effects. Leekuf Tablet may also cause sleepiness, so avoid driving or engaging in activities that require mental focus until you understand how it affects you. Leekuf Tablet is used for relieving cough, throat irritation, sneezing, watery eyes, runny or stuffed nose due to cold and allergy.

Contraindications of Leekuf Strip Of 10 Tablets

If you have known allergy to chlorpheniramine, dextromethorphan and phenylephrine or any other ingredient of this Tablet.
If you have high blood pressure, heart-related disorders such as incidences of heart attack and blockage.
If you have serious airway related infection or asthma (this medicine should not be used for relieving cough due to asthma attacks).
If you are taking medicines to treat brain-related disorders.
If you are suffering from a urinary retention problem or an eye disorder called glaucoma.
This Tablet is not meant to be used in children and breastfeeding women.

How Does It Work?

Leekuf Tablet works by coaction of its three components. It has anti-allergic, cough suppressant, and decongestant properties.
Dextromethorphan serves as a cough suppressant. It targets a specific area of the cough centre in the brain to reduce coughing.
Phenylephrine acts as a nasal decongestant. It alleviates nasal congestion by decreasing the swelling of blood vessels in the nasal passages through vasoconstriction.
