Kmgcit Tablets

• Kmgcit Tablet is used for:
• Treatment of low potassium levels (hypokalemia)
• Preventing potassium deficiency in people at risk
• Supporting proper heart function
• Maintaining muscle and nerve function
• Replacing potassium lost due to certain medications (such as diuretics)

• Nausea
• Vomiting
• Stomach pain or discomfort
• Diarrhea
• High potassium levels (hyperkalemia), which may cause irregular heartbeat
• Rarely, allergic reactions

Other General Warnings

• You have kidney disease.
• You have high potassium levels.
• You have heart disease.
• You have severe dehydration.
• You are taking medications that affect potassium levels.

• Take Kmgcit Tablet exactly as prescribed by your doctor.
• Swallow the tablet whole with a full glass of water.
• Do not crush, chew, or break the tablet unless advised.
• It is usually taken with or after meals to reduce stomach irritation.
• Follow the prescribed dose carefully and do not take more than recommended.
• If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember unless it is almost time for the next dose.

• Potassium Chloride: Replenishes potassium levels in the body, supports heart rhythm, muscle function, and nerve transmission.

Interactions with other medicines

• May interact with potassium-sparing diuretics (such as spironolactone).
• May interact with ACE inhibitors or ARBs, increasing potassium levels.
