Uses
- Kabilyte Injection is used for the treatment of serious fungal infections in your tissues or organs (invasive candidiasis) and fungal infections in your nose, nasal sinuses or lungs (invasive aspergillosis) in children, adolescents and adults.
- It is also used to treat suspected fungal infections if you have a fever and a low white cell count that has not improved on treatment with an antibiotic.

- You are allergic to any other medicines.
- You have had liver problems.
- You are already taking cyclosporine (used to help prevent organ transplant rejection or to suppress your immune system).
- You have had any other medical problems.
- You develop signs and symptoms like unexplained widespread skin pain, red or purple rash that spreads and blisters on your skin and the mucous membranes of the mouth, nose, eyes and genitals after using this medicine.
Directions for Use
- Kabilyte Injection will be given by your doctor or nurse.
- Do not self-inject this medicine. Follow any aftercare instructions given by the doctor or nurse.
Storage and disposal
- Store Kabilyte Injection in a refrigerator (2°C - 8°C).
- Keep out of reach of children and pets.

Interactions
Interactions with other medicines
- Some medicines can affect the way Kabilyte Injection works or this medicine itself can reduce the effectiveness of other medicines taken at the same time.
- Tell your doctor about all medicines, supplements or herbals you are currently taking or might take to avoid any possible interaction.
- Particular care should be taken if you are taking cyclosporine or tacrolimus (used to help prevent organ transplant rejection or to suppress your immune system), some HIV medicines such as efavirenz or nevirapine, phenytoin or carbamazepine (used for the treatment of fits/seizures), dexamethasone (a steroid used for the treatment of inflammations) and rifampicin (an antibiotic).
