Description
Ihd Tablet is an anti-anginal medicine. It contains isosorbide mononitrate as the active ingredient. Ihd Tablet prevents heart-related chest pain (angina pectoris). Angina occurs when there is a redu
ced blood supply to the heart. Symptoms may include a tight pain in the chest, radiating towards the neck or arm area. Ihd Tablet works by widening the blood vessels and increasing the blood flow to the heart. Take this medicine in the exact dose and duration recommended by your doctor. Do not take more than the prescribed dose. Do not stop taking this medicine on your own. Before starting Ihd Tablet, inform your doctor if you are pregnant, planning on becoming pregnant, breastfeeding, and about your complete medical history. This medicine is not recommended for children and adolescents under 18.

Ihd Tablet is used for the prevention of angina attacks in adults.
Contraindications of Ihd 20 MG
- If you are allergic to isosorbide mononitrate or any ingredients of Ihd Tablet.
- If you have disorders of the heart muscles or any problems with the proper working of the heart.
- If you are taking medicines called phosphodiesterase inhibitors (like sildenafil) for the management of erectile dysfunction. If you are not sure what these medicines are, please confirm with your doctor. ...
- If you have low blood pressure or reduced blood flow to the brain.
- If you have a low number of red blood cells (anaemia).
