Interactions
Interactions with other medicines
- Certain medicines can interact with Hyten tablet or this medicine itself can affect the way other medicines work.
- Tell your doctor about all the medicines, supplements, and herbals you are currently taking or might take to avoid any possible interaction.
- Concomitant use of the Hyten tablet along with medicines of class calcium channel blockers Verapamil, diltiazem, and nifedipine (for high blood pressure or chest pain) should be avoided.
- Concomitant therapy with dihydropyridines, e.g. nifedipine, may increase the risk of low blood pressure and cardiac failure.

- Use medicines to treat nose or sinus congestion or other cold remedies carefully along with the Hyten tablet.
- Medicines like Ibuprofen or indomethacin (for pain and inflammation) may decrease the activity of beta-blockers hence co administration should be avoided.
