• If you have allergy to hydroxyurea or any of the ingredients of this medicine.
• If you have a history of any blood-related problems.
• If you are suffering from severe anaemia.

• Nausea
• Vomiting

• Stomatitis
• Constipation
• Stomach discomfort
• Dyspepsia
• Abdominal pain

Other General Warnings

• You have kidney or liver problems.
• You have a history of gout, ulcers of the leg.
• You are pregnant.
• You have previously undergone radiotherapy or chemotherapy or are currently taking any other medicines for cancer treatment, especially interferon therapy.
• You have a folic acid deficiency.

• Hydrosar Capsules should be taken as directed by your doctor.
• Swallow it whole with a glass of water. Do not cut, break or chew the medicine.
• It would be best if you took it at a fixed time for optimal results.
• Do not consume more than that prescribed by your doctor.

• Take Hydrosar Capsule exactly as prescribed by your doctor, at the same time each day.
• Swallow the capsule whole with water; do not crush, chew, or break it open.
• Avoid pregnancy during treatment; use effective birth control if you are of childbearing age.
• Inform your doctor if you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or breastfeeding.
• Regular blood tests may be needed to monitor your blood counts and liver function.
• Do not skip doses or stop taking the medicine suddenly without consulting your doctor.
• Stay hydrated and follow a healthy diet as recommended by your doctor.
• Avoid alcohol and unnecessary exposure to infections, as your immune system may be compromised. Handle the capsule carefully; wash your hands after taking it.
• Report to your doctor immediately if you notice fever, sore throat, unusual bruising, or bleeding.

Interactions with other medicines

• Some medicines can affect the way Hydrosar Capsule works or this medicine itself can reduce the effectiveness of other medicines taken at the same time.
• Tell your doctor about all the medicines, supplements or herbals you are currently taking or might take to avoid any possible interactions.
• Especially anti-HIV medicines and some vaccines. If you recently had a vaccination or are planning to have one, tell your doctor.

Interactions with food items

• Hydrosar Capsule can be taken with or without food, but taking it after meals may help reduce stomach upset.
• Avoid alcohol while on this medicine, as it may increase the risk of liver problems and worsen side effects.
• Eat a balanced diet rich in fruits, vegetables, and whole grains to support your body’s strength during treatment.
• Stay well-hydrated by drinking enough water, as this helps your body process the medicine and reduces side effects.
• Limit or avoid foods that may irritate your stomach, such as spicy, oily, or highly acidic foods, if you experience nausea or digestive discomfort.
• If you are experiencing reduced appetite, try small, frequent meals instead of large ones.
